Factors Determining Coping Strategy in HIV/AIDS Survival

Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) are still global health problems. Although the incidence of HIV has decreased from 0.40 people per 1000 to 0.26 who not infected in 2016, trend is concerning. Indonesia ranked 5th as country most at risk HIV/AIDS Asia, so epidemic also a problem Indonesia. Objective: To identify determinants coping strategies for survivors. Methods: This research an analytic study with cross sectional design, quantitative approach. Research subjects group were selected randomly. The sample this study, namely PLWHA recorded Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Tangerang Regency, amounted 36 PLWHA. Results: In Education Coping Strategies, p-value was 0.043. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there relationship between Strategies District Hospital, while strategy openness status, history opportunistic infections outcome expectations stated no openness. infections, expectations, different p-values.
